Born in Germany and raised in South Africa, I eventually ended up in Berlin – not without stopping in one or two smaller German cities and New York City on my way there.
My studies in Communication Sciences and Psychology led me to various internships and freelance work at TV and radio stations, a news agency as well as the US correspondents’ office of a major German gossip magazine.
The latter is where I decided that writing is what I wanted to do, which I have stuck with ever since. While forging my career in writing, I’ve also done a part-time MBA specialising in International Marketing and Branding. Together with my experience in various editorial jobs, this has enabled me to venture out on my own as a freelancer.
I write engaging articles, social media and blog posts, translate and localise from English to German (and back), proof-read and edit, develop social media and content strategies, write storyboards for video productions, and much more. See my full CV here.
